As the Wizard of Oz saying goes, "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain".  Or in this case, pay no attention to our February post that says we are back.  We weren't.  But WE ARE NOW!  Collectively we have been in a running funk to say the least.  No reason to look back - only forward.   Check out the left hand column of this blog under running buddies.  You will find the group of us who are Grandma's marathon enthusiasts.  We love this race and this weekend. We know this is not a well read blog - but for us, it is a thread to keep us talking each week.  It keeps us motivated.  It keeps it fun.  And more importantly, I hope it keeps us disciplined.  Training gets long.  Like everyone else in the running world, we have kids, jobs. spouses. college, and overall busy lives.   This training season - which we are officially starting today on November 1st - we are here to support each other to get to the start line and then to cross the finish line.  While the training plan won't start until 12 or 16 weeks out (depends on your plan) - we are starting now to engage with each other and to have some fun along the way.   Check us out from time to time, we are a fun bunch!
